Creake Abbey, Norfolk. In the grounds surrounding the ruins of an Augustinian abbey (a setting that’s hard to beat), you’ll find crates of veg, cask-aged mead, and stalls bearing plants and flowers on the lawns.
Inside two beamed barns are farmers and pie makers, along with a stand for the Fruit Pig Company, which supplies the likes of Jamie Oliver and Tom Kerridge and regularly rolls out its delicacy of fresh-blood black pudding.
